I'm looking online at flights from auckland to vancouver in november for the Vancouver Symphony audition (and then on to philadelphia). To be the most ready to play the audition I'm looking for the shortest amount of travel time. However the cheapest flight I can find happens to have 24 hours of travel time - because it includes a seven hour layover in Fiji! hmm. I've always wanted to make it to a small pacific island. I wonder if seeing Fiji would distract me too much from preparing for the audition at the most crucial time...

you could go on a mission to find the true source of fiji water (scantily clad fijian women filling plastic bottles in a pristine waterfall....?)
