Today I rushed out onto the patio upon hearing incredibly loud low low-flying airplane noise. Turns out it was eight military planes in formation. After checking to make sure we weren't being invaded by the chinese, I hollered for Camille to come look. The entire new zealand airforce followed...including even a few slugish biplanes bringing up the rear:

It's nice to live in a country where the miliitary has a sense of humor, but here is the official logo of the NZ airforce:

Not only is the kiwi nearly extinct, but it's also flightless. Be afraid!
